John K. Taggart, III was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on February 18, 1943. After receiving a B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College in 1965, he went on to earn his LL.B. from the University of Virginia in 1968. His practice now focuses on Family Law, Divorce, Civil Law, and Collaborative Law.
